Complementary training materials for the trialists-of-the-future
The spectrum of training curricula for clinical trials and clinical research is expanding significantly over time. The curriculum developed in the ERASMUS+ CONSCIOUS II project is aimed at PhD students and early-career researchers, i.e. future potential clinical trial investigators.
Other projects focusing on the development of training materials should also be brought to your attention:
For undergraduate students, or people who want to review basic information about clinical research, there is the curriculum developed in the CONSCIOUS project. The materials are available free of charge on the training platform: https://conscious.novaims.unl.pt/login/index.php. So feel free to ask the project investigators for access to the platform.

For both undergraduate and postgraduate students, there is the SENSITISE project focused on inclusive clinical trials training and education to increase the involvement of under-served groups in clinical research. The project is in progress, but you can follow the SENSITISE project websites and LinkedIn profile.

For study nurses/research nurses, the central link between physicians, patients, sponsors, clinical research organizations, and ethics committees, there is the VACCELERATE course designed to provide the needed expertise to conduct a clinical trial.
