CONSCIOUS II Multiplier event – Interprofessional curriculum for future investigators in clinical trials
On behalf of the Erasmus+ KA2 project “Curriculum Development of Human Clinical Trials for the Next Generation of PhD Students and Early Career Researchers in the Medical, Science, Pharmacy and Health Professions” (CONSCIOUS II, http://conscious2.eu/), we are pleased to invite you to the first Multiplier Event, which will be held on May 12, 2023, in the Université Paris Cité, Paris, France.

What is CONSCIOUS II?
The CONSCIOUS II project is an educational project focusing on the field of clinical trials. It aims to develop the skills necessary to conduct high-quality academic clinical trials as well as the skills to effectively disseminate the results obtained.
What to expect from this Multiplier Event?
The project partners, PhD students, researchers, trainers, people involved in higher education, including HEI administration, government, staff, faculty, and the generally interested public, are invited to gather, learn, share and create together. The main topics discussed will be the Interprofessional skills of the investigators of the future – leadership, academic and regulatory publishing, and teaching. The challenges and strategies for the integration of the project outputs in higher education will be discussed.
In this event, participants will:
a) be introduced to the curriculum of the CONSCIOUS II and the finalized CONSCIOUS projects;
b) gain insights regarding the state-of-the-art on the education of clinical trialists of the future in HEIs and existing practices;
c) get acquainted with the specific content of the Interprofessional curriculum during the workshop;
d) discuss with other stakeholders and experts the challenges and benefits that academic institutions may face from the integration of this kind of education.
Event Information
A half-day event (from 10:30 to 15:00). The official language of the Multiplier Event is English. Participation in the event will be free of charge, but registration is required. Registration deadline: May 5, 2023. Participants will receive a certificate of participation. The agenda of the event can be found at the end of this form.
