CONSCIOUS II Multiplier Event in Lisbon: Fostering Research Culture in Clinical Pharmacology Services.
On February 7th, the CONSCIOUS II partner - University NOVA de Lisboa, in collaboration with the Clinical Pharmacology Section of the Portuguese Society of Pharmacology, organized a meeting titled Fostering Research Culture in Clinical Pharmacology Services at NOVA Medical School in Lisbon, Portugal. The events target audience included Clinical Pharmacologists, Clinical Researchers, PhD Students, and Early Career Researchers in the Medical, Science, and Pharmacy domains. By fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange, this initiative aimed to propel advancements in clinical pharmacology research and practice. A significant highlight of the gathering was the session dedicated to the Cooperation Partnership for Education: Clinical Trialists of the Future. Here, the Erasmus+ Project CONSCIOUS II took center stage, showcasing its pivotal contributions to the field. Particularly, the presentation emphasized the CONSCIOUS II Curriculum in Clinical Trials, Transferable Interdisciplinary Skills, and the Training Platform, offering attendees valuable insights into advancing their expertise. Furthermore, a stimulating round table discussion ensued, focusing on the Organization of Clinical Pharmacology Services. Various models and strategies were deliberated upon, providing attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the evolving landscape within the field.
